Q.What is a BIOS Chip?

A.It is a nonvolatile memory storage device. It is programmed with data supplied from the motherboard manufacturer(i.e. a BIOS file), written for their SPECIFIC motherboard hardware.

Q. What is BIOS?

A.It is this software/code within the BIOS chip which makes the hardware (i.e. keyboard,mouse,disc controllers etc ), identifiable to your operating system, so if the bios fails (either through a bad BIOS upgrade/virus or chip failure), then this will render your computer/laptop/motherboard useless!

Q. What about Laptop BIOS?

A. We can repair most of these and correct password problems, obviously because laptops are built on a smaller footprint, they are more complex and require more work, all details and options are in the SHOP.
